We humans don’t clean ourselves that much as cats. Cats spend about 50 percent of their day cleaning themselves. Researches prove that cats cleaning behavior not only is associated with attracting partners but also help to keep away from predators. Other benefits include improved blood supply. Grooming helps to keep them warm. Moreover, cat’s saliva contain enzymes that have antibiotic properties and thus can heal wounds.
